Welcome to Hilliard Darby Stadium, where the Hilliard Davidson Wildcats will battle the Panthers of Hilliard Darby in the 21st season of the Great American Rivalry Series. This Ohio showdown features an in-town rivalry that began in 2006 and is approaching its 18th overall meeting. These two schools started their rivalry when the original Hilliard school split.  

The two-time State Champion Hilliard Davidson Wildcats look to add to their 11-6 all-time series lead, while the Panthers of Hilliard Darby aim to close the gap and avenge the 35-7 loss from the previous season. Both teams finished with 6-6 records last season and hope to take the next step forward in their winning tradition. 

 This Ohio Friday night football contest takes place on September 13, 2024, and the stadium will be filled with 10,000 fans on the edge of their seats for what should be a thriller.

It’s that time of year again at Ray Moore Stadium as the Victor Valley Sun Devils prepare to face off against the Apple Valley Jackrabbits in the historic “Bell Game.” Dating back to 1969, this intense rivalry promises to add another chapter to its storied history when these two teams meet on September 13th, 2024.  

Since its inception, the “Bell Game” has been one of Southern California’s biggest rivalries, showcasing fierce competition fuelled by pride and school spirit. The coveted prize? The winner not only claims the bell but also earns the right to paint it in their school colors.  

Currently, Apple Valley leads the series 38-15, having dominated last year with a decisive 63-20 victory, marking their 12th consecutive win. This year, Victor Valley, backed by a crowd of 5,000 passionate fans, is determined to reclaim the bell and end Apple Valley’s winning streak.  

The 21st season of the Great American Rivalry promises another exhilarating football showdown for this longstanding rivalry, set to captivate fans once again.

Jesuit vs Christian Brothers

Hughes Stadium will be electric on September 14th, 2024, as the Jesuit Marauders square off against the Christian Brothers Falcons in one of Sacramento’s most revered rivalries—the Holy Bowl, dating back to 1969. This will mark the 53rd meeting between these two teams, with Jesuit holding a commanding lead in the series at 35-16-2. In their last encounter, Jesuit secured a convincing 41-8 victory, extending their winning streak over the Christian Brothers Falcons to 17 games. 

Both Jesuit and Christian Brothers are renowned for producing top-tier talent, with numerous players advancing to Division 1 football programs. Jesuit’s recent accomplishment includes edge rusher Laiatu Latu being drafted in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft, highlighting the caliber of athletes this rivalry showcases. 

The Great American Rivalries’ decision to spotlight this matchup in its 21st season underscores the intense competitiveness and rich tradition that defines the Holy Bowl.
