Tim shined in the 1986 rivalry game between Saint Ignatius and Saint Edward where Saint Ignatius entered the game as the underdog that year. Tim’s outstanding play was the catalyst for Saint Ignatius’ first win over Saint Edward after a 6-year span. His three game saving tackles and a 22-yard fumble return for a touchdown led the Wildcats to a 14-5 upset of Saint Edward, the eventual Ohio State Runner-up that season. In addition, Tim had 5 solo tackles, 9 assists, and broke up a pass in the endzone in his strong defensive performance.
