Tim retired from teaching after 31 years, many of which were spent coaching Napa. He took over the JV football program where he remained head coach for three seasons before joining the Varsity squad as the defensive line coach. Tim was a great motivator to his players, talking to them about what it took to be a Napa High Indian. He instilled in them the importance of having pride and respect for Napa High. He helped to guide the Indians to 11 league championships in football, as well as two section championship games.
