Curt played in the rivalry game in 1980 to 1982 as an offensive and defensive lineman on the varsity team. In these games, Vacaville won 2 out of the 3 games, his senior year Vacaville won 13-12. Most of the running success at Vacaville during his years on varsity was done with Curt paving the way. He finished his senior year with All-League honors and was the 1983 CIF state champion shot with a winning throw and school record of 63’ 9 1/2”. After high school, Curt went on to play football at the University of Washington and later came back to Vacaville and helped coach. He currently works as a diesel mechanic with Reliable Trucking.
