Ernie Sule played center on the 1963 Rutland HS football team and later graduated with the class of 1964. He went onto serve his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. For many years Ernie has been seen working the sidelines of many Rutland HS athletic events as well as state championship events and other events such as the Vermont-New Hampshire Shrine Maple Sugar Bowl. Ernie is an individual that can be seen at Rutland HS at any time of the day or night setting up fields, filming games or just making sure that our student-athletes are ready to go at a moments notice. Ernie is a pillar of our school community and lately it has become a family affair with the addition of his two grandchildren Annie and Ryan helping in the same capacity. We would like to thank Ernie and his family for all that they do, for all of us.
