CLASS OF 2016

Brandon Bergeron

Hartford (VT)

Brandon was one of the captains of the 2008 State Champions team which beat Rutland. He called the defense from the safety position and was a critical piece of the Hurricane stout defense. On the offensive side he carried the ball as well as caught it for the teams fair share of touchdowns. Even though the Hurricanes’ had the Gatorade player of the year, Brandon was a very visible stand out player. His leadership qualities are commendable. He is a player that never quit and left everything on the field. Brandon went on to play and start for Castleton University at safety where he was also an impact player. He currently coaches the running backs and secondary at Hartford. He is a positive role model and inspiration for their players. Head Coach Matt Trombly is grateful to have such an outstanding coach as part of his staff.
