Ingle Martin

Ingle Martin belongs to the Montgomery Bell Academy Class of 2000 and had a 4-1 career record against Brentwood Academy. He was ranked among the nation’s top prep quarterbacks and led the Big Red to three consecutive state titles, including two wins over Brentwood. During his sophomore year, Ingle avenged an earlier regular season loss with a 21-19 victory over BA in the state championship game. In his junior year, he led his team to a 30-0 win over the Eagles and was later named Offensive MVP of the Clinic Bowl State Championship Game against Christian Brothers. And in his senior year, Ingle threw a touchdown pass in the state championship game against Brentwood, leading the Big Red to an 8-7 win. Ingle was named All-State in football and Division II AA Mr. Football Back of the Year during his junior and senior years and finished high school with a 32-game winning streak. He has since gone on to play for the NFL and is currently a quarterback for the New York Sentinels. William Liles accepted the award from Marine Sergeant Andy Hurt on behalf of Ingle.
