Bill Kottas played in the Brentwood Academy-MBA rivalry his sophomore, junior, and senior years. As captain of the 2006 squad, Bill led Brentwood to an impressive 42-7 victory over MBA, an 11-1 record, and a Tennessee Division II-AAA State Championship. He was also captain of the basketball team that won state championships three years in a row and was selected as an All-Region basketball player at point guard his junior and senior year. Bill was a sprinter on the varsity track team and helped his school capture four state championships in track and field. He currently plays wide receiver and special teams at Samford University.
