Connor Smith starred on the offensive line for the Cardinals from 2003-2005, helping the team to a 37-3 overall record (including 3 victories over Middletown), 3 GMC Championships, and the 2004 State Championship. He was named the GMC Player of the Year and Cincinnati Enquirer Player of the Year in 2005, and earned 1st Team All-Ohio honors that same year. He was also named the Ohio Gatorade Player of the Year, won the prestigious Anthony Munoz Foundation Lineman of the Year award, and was named to both the Parade All-American Bowl. Connor went on to play for The Ohio State University, playing in 2 BCS National Championship games, the Fiesta Bowl, and the Rose Bowl.

Connor has returned to Colerain Township with his wife Sarah, and has opened his own insurance agency, giving back to the community by becoming a corporate sponsor with the Colerain Boosters.
