Coach Tom Travis was Head Coach for the Hickman Kewpies from 1972-92. He ranks second all-time in career wins at Hickman with 130 wins. After leaving Hickman, Travis coached for 19 more seasons in Texas. The two things he remembers most from this rivalry is coaching against his former coach, Mr. Pete Atkins, and that he never had to motivate his players during “Jays Week”.
