Greg Hare

Fort Hill (MD)

Greg Hare was the Fort Hill quarterback during the 1968-69 rivalry games. He finished his high school career with a dazzling performance, guiding the Sentinels to a 27-0 victory over the Campers. In that game, he passed for two touchdowns, rushed for another and intercepted two passes on defense. He was named one of the Top 11 high school players in the USA by Sunkist and Coach Athlete Magazine. He went to Ohio State where he was the starting quarterback during his sophomore and junior seasons. As a captain his junior year, he led the Buckeyes to the Rose Bowl. During his college career, he totaled 1,338 passing yards and 470 rushing yards and was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in 1974. Currently, Greg is a local businessman and owner of Document Solutions.
