Pisgah vs Tuscola

North Carolina

Welcome to Pisgah Memorial Stadium, where the stage is set for one of the best high school football rivalries in North Carolina. The Pisgah Bears will be facing off against the Tuscola Mountaineers in “The County Clash,” a tradition dating back to 1996.

The two teams will be playing their 61st game and promise to deliver one of the most thrilling matchups of the 21st season of The Great American Rivalry Series. This rivalry is among the most competitive in high school football, with Pisgah holding a narrow 31-28-1 all-time series lead. Tuscola has been striving to reclaim the lead, having won the past two seasons, and ending Pisgah’s 9-game win streak from 2013 to 2021. Although Tuscola won comfortably 27-10 last season, both teams are accustomed to fiercely competitive battles, as evidenced by the one-point differences in their meetings during the 2021 and 2022 seasons.
