Piqua vs Troy

The “Battle on the Miami” between the Troy High School Trojans and the Piqua High School Indians is set to ignite Alexander Stadium on September 27th. As one of Ohio’s most coveted high school football rivalries, the Indians face off against the Trojans once again and look to swing momentum in their favor from the all-time series of 67-66-6. 

This year’s showdown promises intense action, with a crowd of 8,000 rowdy fans expected to fill the stands on September 27th. 

 Last season, the Trojans shut out the Indians 14-0, adding extra fuel to Piqua’s fire. This was the first win for Troy since 2019 in the series. Both are looking to continue their winning tradition during their 140th all time meeting.  

 As part of the Great American Rivalry Series 21st season, this game is set to be a trilling classic.

Pueblo Centennial vs Pueblo Central

Colorado

Get ready for one of the most electrifying high school football matchups in the nation as the Pueblo Centennial Bulldogs face off against the Pueblo Central Wildcats in the storied “Bell Game” at Dutch Clark Stadium on September 27, 2024 in the “Steel City” of Pueblo, Colorado. This clash, part of the 21st season of the Great American Rivalry Series, boasts a history dating back to Thanksgiving Day in 1892. With over 12,000 fans expected in their 124th meeting, the Wildcats, who lead the all-time series 61-53-9, aim to replicate last year’s dominant 52-0 victory.  

Last season, Central jumped out to a huge early lead and dominated from the get-go. They shut out the Centennial Bulldogs 52-0 en route to their 5th straight victory in the series. Going back home, the Bulldogs are hoping to swing the series back in their favor.  

As the oldest, and most cherished annual football rivalries west of the Mississippi River, the intensity is palpable with triumph and glory.

Mt. Spokane vs Mead

Washington

An electrifying showdown between the Mount Spokane Wildcats against the Mead Panthers in the annual “Battle of the Bell” takes place at Union Stadium on 9/27/2024. This intense rivalry dates back to 1998 and boasts a perfectly balanced all-time series at 13-13. As one of the best rivalries in the Pacific Northwest, the Panthers face off against the Wildcats part of 21st season of the Great American Rivalry Series. 

Mount Spokane has dominated in recent years, winning the last four of the past six meetings, including a thrilling 27-20 victory in the previous matchup. With a crowd of 6,000 expected fans, the atmosphere will be exhilarating as these fierce competitors clash once again and Mead looks regain bragging rights.

Saint Francis vs Bellarmine College Prep

California

Get ready for another electrifying Friday night under the lights! The Saint Francis Lancers are gearing up to defend their home turf at Ron Calcagno Stadium as they face off against the Bellarmine College Prep Bells in the historic “Holy War.” Last year, the Lancers defeated the Bells 28-10, extending their win streak against this fierce rival to six games. 

This storied rivalry, dating back to 1958, sees Bellarmine College Prep leading the series 41-35, making this matchup the 77th in their storied history, including playoff encounters. Both schools have a rich tradition of producing top-tier talent, with each having at least 10 players drafted to the NFL.  

As we mark the 21st season of the Great American Rivalry Series, this game is set to embody everything that makes high school football thrilling. Expect a showcase of intense competition, passionate fans, and a display of what true rivalry is all about. This is more than just a game—it’s a celebration of tradition and talent.
