Graduating in 1981, Bond was a 4-year player and 2-year letterman for the Trojans. He was a 2nd Team All-Conference defensive end his junior year, and as a senior was voted 1st Team All-Conference, 1st Team All-Southwest Ohio, and 1st Team All-Ohio as well as being selected to the AP All-District 1st Team, the Area All-Star 1st Team and was also voted the Trojan’s Most Valuable Player and an honorable mention for the Street & Smith All-American team. Bond went on to play two years at Ellsworth College in Iowa, later transferring to the University of Missouri to finish his college football career with the Tigers. Upon graduation he was drafted by the USFL Birmingham Stallions. Bond is currently a Juvenile Officer at the West Central Juvenile Rehabilitation facility in Miami County.
