Marquis was a four-year varsity player at Trinity and played in four rivalry games against Cardinal Ritter. His best game in the series came in 2011 when he scored two touchdowns, had 64 rushing yards, 62 receiving yards, eight tackles and a fumble recovery in a 14-0 win over the Lions. Marquis also was a state-qualifying wrestler at Trinity and a four-year baseball player for the Titans.
