Akeem graduated in 2005 and was the #1 ranked player in the state of Maryland with 131 tackles and 13 sacks as a linebacker for Good Counsel. He was first team All-State, All-Conference and All- Metro and was voted a USA Today Parade All American and Army All-American. He was also captain of the team. He went on to earn a scholarship for the University of Georgia and is currently the linebackers coach for Falcons.
