Patrick Mannelly

Patrick was a three-year letter winner as an offensive lineman and outstanding player for the War Eagles. He was selected as Atlanta Area Lineman-of-the-Year and selected to play in the Georgia-Florida game his senior year. After graduating in 1993, Patrick attended Duke University on a football scholarship. In 1998, he was drafted by the Chicago Bears and is currently in his 12th season in the NFL with the Bears and is the 2nd longest tenured player in the NFL among active long snappers. In addition to football, Patrick is the Illinois state spokesman for the American Lung Association Athlete’s and Asthma Program. Accepting the award for Patrick was his father, Jim Mannelly.
