Rick Hamilton

Rick Hamilton played at Citrus High School from 1985 through 1988, including the first Citrus vs. Lecanto game in 1986. In 1988, his senior season, he recorded 15 tackles and 2 fumble recoveries in a 32-8 victory over the Panthers. Rick played linebacker in college at the University of Central Florida from 1989 through 1992. In three of his four seasons at UCF, Rick recorded more than 100 tackles. One season, he recorded 149 tackles, ranking him 2nd all time at UCF for tackles in a season. He ended his career as UCF’s all time leader in tackles with 443. Rick is also tied for 3rd in career interceptions and holds the record for the longest interception return in UCF history. Rick was selected in the third round of the NFL Draft by the Washington Redskins and played for several NFL Teams including the New York Jets. He is also a former member of the Orlando Predators and was named MVP of Arena Bowl XII.
