Longview High has had many great running backs in its 107 year of LHS football. One of the greatest running back was Fred Talley. Fed holds several rushing records at Longview and is also the third all time at LHS in career rushing Touchdowns at 38. After graduating in 1999, Fred took his talents to the University of Arkansas where he rushed for 2,661 yards and 11 touchdowns in three varsity seasons. Longview High is proud to nominate Fred Talley for this honor as part of the Great American Rivalry.
