CLASS OF 2016

Frankie Molina

Middletown (NY)

Frankie was a member of the Middletown Varsity Football team from 08-10. He was a standout on both sides of the ball as both a safety and wide receiver. After dealing with a horrible personal tragedy, Frankie made a decision to dedicate himself to football and had arguably one of his best games on September 20th 2008. This game was significant for several reasons. It was the first game played in the new Faller Field Complex and this game marked the first time in eleven years that Middletown took home the Erie Bell.

Early in the game, Frankie caught a pass in the end zone for the game’s lone touchdown and helped seal the victory late in the game with an interception. Frankie’s heroic actions were truly a sight to behold and rank as one of the Classic Port game performances of all time.
