While at Troy, Todd earned four varsity letters in football, three in track and one in ice hockey. Todd was a four-year starter on the Trojan football team as a tackle and a linebacker and was a first team All-GWOC performer in 2003 & 2004 and named 1st team All-Ohio in 2004. Todd went on to attend The Ohio State University on a football scholarship and graduated with honors with a degree in Construction Management. While at Ohio State, Todd was a 4-year starter for the Buckeyes as a Defensive Tackle and earned four varsity letters in football and was a three-time All-Academic All-Big 10 recipient.
