Frank played in the Rivalry Series starting in 1952 through 1954. He played quarterback and fullback for Gonzaga, scoring two TDs in his senior year in 1954. During his three years, Gonzaga was undefeated 3-0 in the Series. He was All-Met in his senior year and a three time All League Player. He went on to play College Football at Holy Cross College.
