Homer Jordan played in the Cedar-Clarke rivalry for three years. In his senior season with Cedar shoals in 1978, he led the Jaguars to a 12-3 victory. Homer went on to star at quarterback for Clemson, where he garnered All-ACC honors during the 1980 & 1981 seasons. He was named to the All-American team in 1981 and led Clemson to its only national championship in football with a 22-15 victory over Nebraska. He was named MVP of the 1981 Orange Bowl. He currently serves as quarterbacks coach for the Jaguars.
