From Page – William Hardin. Page High School is proud to recognize Baseball Coach William Hardin as the 2017 GAR Hall of Fame Inductee. In his 17 years at Page, Coach Hardin has made a tremendous impact both as a teacher and coach. He understands the influence that educational athletics has on students. Coach Hardin has won 260 games in his career while his teams have made 10 playoff appearances. William has been honored as Metro 4A Coach of the Year as well as News- Record Coach of the Year. Coach Hardin is a member of the Louisburg College and Elon University’s Athletic Hall of Fames. Two of Coach Hardin’s teams have been recognized as having the highest GPA in NC. He has coached in the NC State games, winning a Gold Medal. During his successful career, Coach Hardin has coached 4 professional players, 5 All State players and 25 players that went on the play collegiately. Additionally, Coach Hardin is an avid writer, having published over 20 baseball relates article in Scholastic Coach. Congratulations Coach William Hardin
