Jacobi played in the Hampton-Phoebus rivalry in all 4 years of high school. In 2005 Hampton beat Phoebus in route to winning a state championship, and Jacobi was a major part of that success. He was a 3-time all-district selection and a 2 time all-region and all-state selection. After high school he continued his success at Hampton University where he was selected as a captain. Jacobi is currently on the coaching staff at Heritage High School.
