CLASS OF 2018

Tim Hanson

Lynden (WA)

Tim Hanson played for Lynden in the late 80’s/early 90’s and was a 3 year starter at LB and FB, typifying the hard nose, hard hitting players Lynden have become known for around the state. His single season and career tackle records have remained at the top of Lynden’s all-time lists for over 20 years. In his senior year, Lynden hired a new Head Coach Curt Kramme, and together they helped Lynden win its second State Championship in Football. After high school, Tim played for Western Washington University from ’92-95 where he helped WWU reach the playoffs for the first time in school history and helped the program get to the Div. II National Championship Game. Tim Hanson has helped set a standard that every player who plays for Lynden aspires to match and even exceed.
