CLASS OF 2014

Josh Seidel

Bishop McCort (PA)

Josh was a 3-year letterman at Bishop McCort. In 2009, Josh had a special night against Richland, as he scored 6 TD’s, a special accomplishment as it tied the school record for TD’s held since 1981 by his late father, Dave, who passed away that August after a long battle with brain cancer. Josh accounted for 327 yards, later being named to Sports Illustrated’s “Faces in the Crowd” and named ESPN RISE East Player of the Week. Josh went on to break the school’s single season scoring record, previously shared by Artrell Hawkins, Pete Duranko, and Eric Lowry. He was named the AP and Pennsylvania Football News 1st team All-State and earned the Tribune Democrat’s Offensive Player of the Year Award. Presenting the award is Marine Sgt. Martinez, Congratulations Josh!
