William Henderson

Thomas Dale (VA)

William “Boogie” Henderson played four years of varsity football with Thomas Dale, 1986-1989, including four rivalry games with LC Bird. He scored a touchdown in 1998 and made numerous tackles from his linebacker position during those years. He earned a grant-in-aide from UNC at Chapel Hill, playing fullback for the Tarheels for four years after being redshirted his first year because of a knee injury. He was named a captain his junior and senior year, then was drafted in 1995 in the third round by the Green Bay Packers. During his 12 years at Green Bay, he played in over 160 consecutive games and earned two NFC championship rings and one Super Bowl ring. He was named to the Pro-Bowl and All-NFL teams in 2005.
