Larry Anderson

In the 1973 Neville-West Monroe game, Larry Anderson returned the opening kickoff for a touchdown which set the tone for a Tiger victory. Larry was a running back and had a great game, leading Neville to a 40-13 victory. He was also a member of the 1972 team that earned an unprecedented three playoff victories in eight days to claim a State Title. Larry played football at Louisiana Tech, earning All-Conference recognition, and played 7 seasons for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He holds four Super Bowl records as a kick return specialist and moved to Shreveport upon retiring from the NFL.
