Rickoy played in this rivalry game his junior and senior years, earning two MVP trophies. Rickoy was a two-time All-County and All-Long Island player and rushed over 1200 yards. He also helped his team earn three Big Four Champion titles and played in the Suffolk County Championship twice. Rickoy went on to attend and play football for Nassau Community College.
