Marshall High School senior Kendrick Starling turned in a performance for the ages in his 1998 between the Mavericks and the Lobos. Kendrick finished with 11 receptions for 157 yards and 2 scores. His 7 yard touchdown reception in the 2nd overtime was the game winner for Marshall. Kendrick later went on to play collegiately as well as stints with the Texans, Seattle Seahawks, and the New Orleans Saints.
