Sian was a four year varsity letterman, a three year starter and team captain in 2002. Sian played in the Rivalry game vs Hoban from 1999 thru 2002. In Sian’s senior season vs Hoban, Sian accumulated 11 tackles, 2 tackles for loss, and a sack in a 23-7 loss to the Knights. In 2002, Sian was named to the All-State team and was selected to play and start in the Army All-American Game. Sian accepted a full scholarship to play football for The Ohio State Buckeyes, who was coached by Jim Tressel at the time. He went on to finish his playing career at Walsh University
