GAME SUMMARY

Westmoore was coming off an impressive win to open their season against the third member of the Moore trio, Moore High School, and took home city bragging rights by virtue of their two rivalry wins. Southmoore was fresh off an upset of the defending 5A State Champions, Carl Albert. Southmoore had won last season’s meeting, but Westmoore quickly quashed any hopes of a repeat as they capitalized on SaberCat mistakes to take a 14-0 halftime advantage. Early in the second half, the Jaguars were led by Great American Rivalry Series MVP Dahu Green and quarterback Bryson Lee, as they connected on their second TD completion in less than ten minutes of game time to push the lead to 21-0. The teams traded scores down the stretch to bring the final score to 31-13.
