The Westminster v. Woodward rivalry is a familiar game to the Great American Rivalry Series with Woodward beating Westminster 31-21 in their 2017 series meeting. This season Westminster has a chance to regain the title of Champion in one the most highly anticipated matchups of the 2019 Great American Rivalry Series.

Woodward Academy

Aaron holds a 3.78 GPA and was a preseason all-state selection by the AJC and Recruit Georgia.com. He was on the Region team as a junior and finished the season with 80 tackles. Overall in his career, he has 162 total tackles, caused three fumbles, one interception, and three sacks. He is committed to playing football at Bowling Green University. Nicholas Buhay, William Buhay, and Paul Weathington

Westminster

Nicholas and William Buhay are dual-sport student-athletes on the football and track and field teams. They are diligent students who have excelled in the classroom and in the larger Westminster community. Nicholas is an active participant in Habitat for Humanity and has a passion for the outdoors as a member of the Fly Fishing and Ecology Clubs. William is the co-chair of Student Government and is active in the Science to Action Club, bringing a love of sciences to elementary school students. Paul holds a 4.0 GPA and is a preseason all-state running back in class AAA as named by the AJC. He is also an all-state lacrosse player, scoring the tying goal in last year's state championship. He is on the watch list for Player of the Year and has committed to play lacrosse at Princeton University.
