Waterloo came out firing, controlling the game and building an impressive 21-7 advantage in the first half. With Columbia searching for a spark, the Eagles continued to battle throughout the night, but Waterloo maintained control and never allowed Columbia to regain momentum. From there, the Bulldogs never looked back. Waterloo continued to make plays on both sides of the ball, putting together a dominant performance from start to finish. Led by No. 10 Chase Zimmerman, who earned Game MVP honors, the Bulldogs finished the night strong and secured a 31-7 victory over Columbia. What began as another highly anticipated matchup between two historic rivals turned into a memorable night for Waterloo, as the Bulldogs defended their home field and added another exciting chapter to this storied rivalry.
