Chalmers is a valuable member of the Hoover High Football team and Lacrosse team. He serves his team, community, and school at a high level. Chalmers has maintained a 4.36 GPA while taking advanced classes, playing multiple sports, and serving his church and school. Chalmers is a great representative of this award and plans to attend on of the service academies.

GAME SUMMARY

Tonight, we saw the Hoover Buccaneers face off against the Vestavia Hills Rebels in this intense rivalry that goes back over 50 years. Vestavia Hills started the night by scoring a field goal in the first quarter. In the second, #13 John Paul Head scored a rushing touchdown, followed by a 10-yard rushing touchdown a few minutes later, putting them in the lead 17-0. In the last minute before the half, the Rebels scored another field goal, closing it out 20-0. In the third, #0 Dunson gave the Buccaneers their first points of the night with a 5-yard run, securing them a touchdown. Ultimately, it was Vestavia Hills who took home the win in this clash of titans, winning 26-7!
