The Centennial vs. South Pueblo game was set to be another great match up between two of the six large Pueblo City Schools. This area is well known for its football and was sure to produce a great game with both teams fighting to win the League by earning a win at this game.

GAME SUMMARY

The South Pueblo Colts began the game determined to come out of this one with a win, they began the game with a quick score making the game 7-0 after the first quarter. The Centennial Bulldogs did everything in their power to keep it close as they scored on a late rushing play right before halftime making the game 14-6 going into halftime after the Centennial kicker missed the extra point after the touchdown. The second half was much of the same, with South continuing to control the game behind the leadership and strong running from Great American Rivalry Series MVP Denis Ramos. The final score of the game ended up at 28-12 with the Pueblo South Colts getting the win and taking home the League title by pulling off the victory.
