On Friday night the United States Air Force, the Great American Rivalry Series and the fans in attendance received a treat, when they were able to watch not only the best team in the state of Mississippi, but one of the best teams in America. South Panola is ranked in many national polls as the second best team in the nation. They absolutely played like it.

Olive Branch came out fired up for the first part of the first quarter, but after a safety caused by the Tigers it was all South Panola. The Tigers would score 28 first half points and take a 28-0 lead into the half. In the second half, it was more of the same as the size, speed, and power of the second ranked team in the nation was too much for the Quistors.
