Watching the Sheridan Yellowjackets and Whitehall Bulldogs go head to head is such a hot topic in Arkansas that this year’s game is going to be a state-wide televised event. After Sheridan’s 50-27 win last year, a lot of pressure falls on Whitehall’s shoulders. There has been a change of coaches for the Bulldogs this year after the retirement of Mike Vaughn. Vaughn coached for 48 years in total but has been with Whitehall since 2004. He got to close his books with a winning record of 93-70. Fans are waiting to see how the new coach, Bobby Bolding, will continue the legacy. Coach Bolding will be bringing a lot to the team as a two-time state championship winner.
