In this classic Texas rivalry, the Round Rock Dragons faced off against the Westwood Warriors. This much anticipated battle between two of the best high schools in Austin had a tremendous atmosphere as more then 6,000 fans packed Dragon stadium for the “Battle of the Bell”. The 1st half saw an evenly fought game where both offenses were able to create problems for the opposing defense. Round Rock proved to be more clinical in their chances by scoring three touchdowns, while Westwood only scored one in the 1st half. This continued in the second half as Round Rock’s explosive offense scored three more touchdowns, while Westwood failed to score in the 2nd half. Throughout the game, Round Rock was led by star running back and eventual MVP, Dylan Jaeger who scored twice on the ground and was also electrifying in returning punts. As the final whistle sounded, the Round Rock Dragons won 42-7 and moved on to 4-4 on the season.

Luke Ramsey

Round Rock

Luke has played Defensive End for the Round Rock Dragons for four years. His accolades include the athletic Star of the Year Award for Performance Course, AP Scholar with Honor from the College Board, and the Round Rock HS Academic Award. He is a four-year member of the Young Men's Service League. Luke plans on attending college in Texas and majoring in Business.
Charlie Fry

Westwood

Charie has been a two-sport athlete all 4 years of high school for both basketball and football. In addition, he is an honors student, having been selected for the National Honor Society for his junior and senior year. He is planning on attending college and pursuing a career in medicine.
