The rivalry between Proctor and Rome Free Academy is one of the longest rivalries in the nation, dating back to 1891. To both sides, this is a passionate – and sometimes heated – rivalry. Residents from both Rome and Utica gather for this game every season, looking for bragging rights for the year. The series record barely sits in the Raiders favor with them only holding one additional win over the Black Knights heads.  With this rivalry know that anything can happen under the lights.
