Timpview continued its football dominance over Provo with a convincing 42-7 Region 8 win on Friday night. Provo thought they would be good enough to beat Timpview for the first time since 1989.

Alex is a four year letterman on the Timpview football and track and field team. Alex was recognized with the American Service Award and currently holding a 4.0 GPA. Alex pans to study mechanical engineering after graduation.

Paden is three year varsity football letterman. He is currently playing wide receiver and defensive back. Paden is member of the honor society, student government, and serves a freshman mentor. Paden currently holds a 4.0 GPA and plans to study engineering.

Brook Haws

Provo

Brook contribute to the Provo/Timpview rivalry for many years. Brook played on the Provo high 1982 state championship team. He caught the opening touchdown against Timpview his senior year. Brook has been coach in the Provo high school system for over twenty years.

GAME SUMMARY

But Timpview Running Back Sala Folaumahina set the tone for the night by scoring two touchdowns in the first eight minutes of the game. Samson Nacua, the Rivalry's game MVP racked up 224 yards in total offense including a 95 yard kickoff return to help Timpview improve to 5-1 overall and 2-0 in Region 8. Ty Jones score the only touchdown of the game for Provo which fell to 4-1 and 1-1 in region play.
