Welcome to Alexander Stadium, where the Troy Trojans travel to face the Piqua Indians in the “Battle on the Miami.” In a historic rivalry that began in 1899, this matchup is one of over 100 featured games in the 23rd season of the Great American Rivalry Series.

This rivalry is one of the best in the entire state of Ohio, with 141 meetings in its illustrious history. Currently, the Trojans hold a narrow 69-66-6 lead over the Indians. Last season, Troy extended with their 3rd straight win in the series with a 28-7 victory. Prior to the last three seasons, Piqua had won three matchups in a row just like the Trojans have recently, but now they’re trying to put an end to that streak and start another one of their own.

Mark your calendar for September 11th, as 10,000 fans will take their seats to witness another installment of this historic Ohio football rivalry.
