The Northeast Vikings hosted the Philadelphia Central Lancers on Thursday, November 28th for another great Thanksgiving . More than 3,000 fans attended the game that was part of the 2013 Great American Rivalry Series Thanksgiving Day game.

GAME SUMMARY

This game was a tale of defensive struggles. Neither team gave up many plays further than 5 yards from the line of scrimmage for the majority of the game. At the end of regulation, neither team had scored bringing on overtime. As per Philadelphia High School rules, each team was given four plays from the ten yard line to score. The Northeast Vikings had the ball first, and were held to a field goal. The Central Lancers then took advantage of their opportunity punching in the game winning touchdown on their third play from scrimmage.
