Ryan played for three years in this rivalry game. He helped lead his team to a second consecutive WPI AAL championship and State PIAA finals appearance. Ryan played at the University of Michigan, where he graduated and played his final eligibility year at WVU and worked on his master’s degree. Ryan was then drafted to the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2008 NFL draft. He played in Super Bowls in 2008 and 2011 with the Steelers.

Barry played for two years in this rivalry game. He graduated from Penn Hills High School and went on to have an outstanding career at Toledo University. Barry is currently in his second season as a member of the Dallas Cowboys in the NFL. Unfortunately, he was unable to be present at tonight’s game.

GAME SUMMARY

With two long touchdowns on fake punts, Corey Jones helped the Penn Hills Indians take a 14-10 win in the Big East Conference. Jones scored on a 50-yard bolt on fourth and 20 in the midde of the second quarter to tie the game 7-7. Then, he raced 73 yards early in the second half for a 14-10 advantage over Woodland Hills. With this win, Penn Hills now has a home game advantage in the first round of the WPIAL playoffs.
