South Medford used some early miscues by North to open a sizable 17 to 7 halftime lead. Due in large part to the Panthers controlling the time-of-possession and winning the field position battle. The third quarter was much of the same as South entered the 4th with a commanding lead of 24 to 7. The game seemed to be over, however this is a Rivalry and North Medford didn’t quit . The Black Tornados had a chance to take the lead late in the 4th after coming back to within three points. However, South Medford was able to hang-on and win 31 to 21 ending a three game losing streak to North Medford.
