The winner from South Medford is Andrew Phillips, Andrew is a 3-year defensive back letterman with a 3.8 GPA. He is a 2-year letterman in hockey and a 2-year letterman in baseball. Last season, he received All Conference recognition for 2009. Andrew plans to attend a 4-year university and study medicine. Escorting Andrew were his parents, Jeannie and Darryl Phillips.

GAME SUMMARY

South Medford got on the board first with a touchdown at 8:04 in the first quarter and followed with an extra point kick taking the lead with 7-0. While North tried to move the ball, South's defense held out strong throughout the first quarter and into the second. South left the first half with a slim lead at 10-7. South kept the ball on the ground and ground out multiple additional touchdowns, making the final score 31-7 and taking the victory.
