This Southside Chicago game has been a tradition since 1924. The two all-boy catholic schools, Saint Rita and Mount Carmel, have laced up their football cleats for their 92nd year. Today, the teams are just as competitive and the crowd just as loud. With Mount Carmel having 12 State Titles, and St. Rita two State Championships, the energy is always high when walking into the stadium before kick-off. This evening, with absolutely perfect weather, made a great setting for the team and fans to enjoy a night of football at Gately Stadium.
