The heated rivalry between the Roswell Hornets and the Milton Eagles made the annual game even more exciting when the Milton Eagles blew away the home team Hornets. This is historically a very heated rivalry in this area, with the schools located three miles from each other. Extra security is brought in each year for this game.

GAME SUMMARY

From the start of the game, Milton ‘owned’ the game, starting with Chris Turner’s carry in for a TD to the 46 yard pass in the second quarter. Roswell scored late in the second quarter but Milton answered quickly with a touchdown. In the end, Milton’s offense was too much for Roswell. Milton receiver Chad Tolliver was named the Great American Rivalry Series “Most Valuable Player”. He ran for 101 yards on nine carries and two scores.
