Down in Miami, Florida, the Soul Bowl is the place to be on a Friday night for students and alumni of the two schools. Northwestern was heavily favored going into the game but the Jackson Generals were not going to turn down a fight.

GAME SUMMARY

The Northwestern Bulls scored first off a Generals fumble on the one yard line and then were able to get into the end zone once more making the score 14-0. The Jackson Generals then answered those touchdowns with one of their own later in the first quarter. The Generals also used a blocked punt and fumble to cut the Bulls lead to 14-13 with two field goals. Northwestern came back from halftime intensity that would lead them to victory.
